Pork Paksiw

Makes 6 servings

Ingredients

1 kg Pork (this recipe used pork spare ribs)
2 cups Vinegar
2 tsp Soy sauce
1 medium Onion (coarsely chopped)
1 tsp Garlic (chopped)
1 1/2 tbsp Brown sugar
1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
5 pieces Dried bay leaves
100 grams Dried banana blossoms (optional)
6 cups Water

Procedures

Combine all ingredients in a pot and simmer for 60 minutes or until the pork is tender. Add water if necessary. You may add a little salt or fish sauce if desired. Enjoy eating!
